Ever wondered why Fredrix canvas is so good?  Here are some of the reasons!

Archival

Fredrix is protected against acid with a buffered sizing of neutral pH which protects the canvas from direct contact with primers.  The canvas is then primed with a universal acrylic-titanium formula.

Odour

Fredrix raw canvas is never treated with any harsh chemicals and the primings are free from any noxious or toxic substances.

Texture

Texture adds ambiance and value to a painting.  Therefore, Fredrix uses only fine quality cottons and cotton blends, which are woven to rigid specifications.

Bleed Thru

All Fredrix canvas is double or triple primed with a proprietary acrylic-titanium formula which is applied on sophisticated digitally monitored industrial coasters and dried in computer controlled drying tunnels.
